I am planning to participate in an amazing educational program to Washington D.C. this spring with my friends and classmates from Sky Vista Middle School!
This tour will give me a hands-on education of some of our most important historical and cultural landmarks such as the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, Arlington National Cemetery and the many memorials which pay tribute to Lincoln, FDR, Thomas Jefferson. Most importantly, this trip will increase my appreciation for American heritage by exposing me to the diverse cultural roots of our country.
In order to take part in this educational adventure, I need to raise the balance of the cost of the trip (see my progress on this page).
