Please help me go to Washinton, D.C.! 

100 % of the way there!
I am planning to participate in an amazing educational program to Washington D.C. next Summer with my friends and classmates from Mineola Middle School! My teacher will sponsor the trip and we are traveling with the educational tour specialist, School Tours of America. Student travel is a fun way to educate children about their country!! This tour will give me a hands-on education of some of our most important historical and cultural landmarks such as the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, Arlington National Cemetery and the many memorials which pay tribute to Lincoln, FDR, Thomas Jefferson. Most importantly, this trip will increase my appreciation for America and all other things so many people do for this country. In order to take part in this educational adventure, I need to raise the balance of the cost of the trip (see my progress on this page). 

Would you be willing to sponsor a portion of my trip in place of any gift towards me? Even if it’s not a gift, any contribution you could make would bring me closer to this life changing experience.

I currently have $1534 saved up and am at 85% of my goal of $1800! The money is in a savings account to accrue interest to make the most of your donations. My goal is $1800 so that I have some spending money to get souvenirs of this awesome experience.
