Mikie Jauregui, a beloved friend and dedicated STA Group Leader and Tour Escort, passed away on August 29th, 2024.
Over the years, Mikie deeply impacted countless students through his leadership on trips to Washington DC and New York City. He believed passionately that every student should have the chance to travel, regardless of financial circumstances.
In honor of his legacy, STA has created the "Mikie J. Red, White & Blue Memorial Scholarship" fund. This scholarship will provide a $1,000 trip scholarship to a deserving student each year for at least the next 10 years, helping continue Mikie's mission of offering life-changing travel experiences. With your generous support, we can honor his memory and ensure this opportunity for years to come, and help keep his passion for student travel for all students alive.
*All donations subject to a 3% processing fee - due to the nature of this Memorial Scholarship fund, the 3% processing fee will be applied to the donation fund.

This is such an amazing and awesome way to honor Mikie’s legacy with AST and STA. He truly wanted to inspire young minds. Setting up the scholarship fund allows for the best part of Mikie to carry on.
