Hello there!
I am planning to participate in an amazing educational program that will take me to Washington D.C. this spring with my friends and classmates from Hildebrandt! My PreAP Social Studies teacher will be leading the way and we are traveling with the tour program, School Tours of America. Student travel is a part of the educational process and is essential to a great education. This tour will give me a hands-on education of some of our most important historical and cultural landmarks such as the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House, Arlington National Cemetery and the many memorials which pay tribute to Lincoln, FDR, Thomas Jefferson. Most importantly, this trip will increase my appreciation for American heritage by exposing me to the diverse cultural roots of our country.
In order to take part in this educational adventure, I need to raise the balance of the cost of the trip (see my progress on this page to the right).
Would you be willing to sponsor a portion of my trip in place of a Christmas gift, birthday gift, or any other gift? Any contribution you could make would bring me closer to this life changing experience. I would even love to babysit in return for contributions to the trip! If you would like to just donate, that would be great too, but I would be more then happy to work for the funds.
